Services
Birth Doula Support: I am proud to work with Harmony Doula Group for my regular birth services! Please use this link to see everything we have to offer: www.harmonydoula.com
Your initial consultation will be with Teri Nava-Anderson, but if you would like me to also be on the call just include my name in your consultation request. We have a variety of packages for all levels of support, from the basics (childbirth education, 3 prenatal appointments, labor support, and a postpartum visit) to the works (everything in the basics plus meetings every month to every week of fetal gestation, AND more lactation support!).
Hospital Only Service: This is reserved for clients who are only looking for day-of-birth support. It includes a consultation, one prenatal appointment, support for your hospital labor and delivery, and one postpartum appointment. Details can be adjusted, and will be included in the contract I send over.
Pricing
If you choose to hire me directly for hospital support, my services are a $2500 flat rate payable to @doulakat on Venmo (under businesses). Please let me know if you prefer Zelle, Paypal, or check. I am not currently taking credit cards.
This fee also includes the support of a back-up doula!
Policy
When booking me for hospital only support, a $500 retainer fee is due when you sign the contract. This helps cover my backup doula, as well as my on-call time! The remaining $2000 is due at 36 weeks gestation. If you need to set up a payment plan, I will do my best to accommodate.
I am happy to send an itemized receipt, as well as fill out any forms you may have for reimbursement through HSA, FSA, Carrot fertility, or Maven. I am not accepting Medicaid insurance at this time.
Note for California Kaiser Permanente patients! Recently, Kaiser has begun to cover doula fees. As far as we can tell, however, this coverage is only up to $600 for in-network doulas, and as little as $250 for out-of-network doulas. If you are birthing at a Kaiser hospital, I would love to support you, as I have many other Kaiser patients in the past. However, the fee will have to paid through one of the programs mentioned in the previous paragraph, or out of pocket. Hopefully Kaiser hospitals will adjust their coverage soon!
